FULL MOON WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 20TH 2021

This full moon in October is known as the Hunter’s moon and is in the sign of Aries. It comes at the end of the harvest season which is a wonderful time to show gratitude and appreciation for all you have achieved and for all nature has to offer.

There is a magical energy in the air as the veil between worlds becomes thin. This offers an opportunity to communicate more easily with the spirit world– a good time to do ancestral work.

An old English term for this moon is Winterfylleth or ‘winter full moon’. This was considered the start winter.

Accept and welcome the dark part of the year as an opportunity for reflection, spiritual growth and goal setting. This is the season to go within, congratulate yourself for who you are and see what you would like to change. Be kind to yourself-rest, meditate, eat warming foods, enjoy the changes in the seasons, take time to pamper yourself and honour yourself by saying beautiful words to yourself. There is so much JOY to be found in the dark times.

The fiery nature of Aries can encourage you to make the changes you need to live a healthier, happier, more balanced life BUT it can also make you irritable and act out of anger. Be discerning and consider your actions. Believe in yourself. Become gently assertive, let go of what you no longer need but be mindful of your words.
